Theme Hospital


In this Strategy/Simulation game you play as a newly hired Chief Doctor. You have only one goal, and that is to run a hospital as smooth as possible without going bankrupt. And at the same time give rival hospitals a bit of a challenge. The first stage takes you to a rundown hospital, with little space and few patients. And you have to build facilities according to needs, as well as hiring, maintaining and so on. In other words, what you would expect out of a sim game.

The graphics in Theme hospital is surprisingly cartoony, which is very positive. Anyone who played this back in 97 will remember how great fun it was. As the overall look of the game is very memorable, very much like Theme Park. Bright colors, comical characters, easy access to menus and great stage layout all boils down to a greatly presented game.

Although not the hardest management game out there, there are a plethora of stages which will get considerably harder as more balls are tossed around. There is a loaning system which in mandatory later on and a salary system which will be harder to manage. Mix that up with a legion of excrementing patients and you have yourself a challenge.
