Seven ruthless gangs rule the city. The Yakuza are famed for their vanity - they want the latest and best in weapons, cars and clothes. The Russian Mafia steal expensive American cars and weaponry to ship back home, whilst controlling the black market trade in human organs and body-parts.

The Rednecks are religious nationalists that hate everyone and everything from the comfort of their large trailer park complex. They brew moonshine and blow things up occasionally. The Hare Krishna’s hate technology. They steal guns and cars, and have them crushed and destroyed to rid the world of their peace breaking menace.

The SRS represent a fringe faction of elite scientists dedicated to furthering the cause of all that is immoral in cutting edge science. They'll fight anyone who doesn't believe in the powerful effects of eugenics, genetic modification and euthanasia. The highly disorganized Loonias have taken over the asylum and are gradually enforcing their insane power schemes on the city.

And behind all this chaos is the shadowy and elusive Zaitbatsu Corporation. A gigantic business empire dominating politics, leisure activities and crime in the city. They set their own agenda and live by their own rules. Don't get in their way unless you've got serious protection.

Earn the respect of any gang, and they will give you work. Work for one gang and lose the respect of another. Watch your back... respect is everything.
