Had a little chat with nik today, felt awful guilty for being away so long. So, here's the scoop. In two weeks time (after i get all of my PhD stuff out of the way), I'm going to start writing a special column on the site dedicated to old dos companies. The structure will be to feature a classic game each week with a short review. To start with, I'm going to focus on Microprose software (lucasarts is just too obvious!).
If anyone wants a company featured over the coming months (or even wants to join me) then post them here! it's good to be back!

Also, around the same time, I'm gona set up a facebook group. Of course I'm not saying we all add each other on facebook, but i think a group we can all promote would be a nice way of getting traffic to the site! Joined it. I think that it's a great idea to add more traffic to the site.Microprose made ton's of great games. While on the facebook thing, Sid Meier has been working on a civ game that will be on facebook come June or so. A free Civ game that can be played with others on facebook sounds like a kick ass idea doesn't it?

oh lord yeah it does. that man created some of my favourite games of all time.... just even thinking about pirates! circa 1987! drool. Neat Idea, I'd like to see one on Apogee.I don't use facebook, but its a good idea for traffic!
