since the message came up that posts had to be approved, that was it. the last straw. i had the bags packed and left quickfast. Just wondering does anyone still frequent that site? And if so, is there any way we can migrate newbs or oldies over to Dosspot?

I go there when I can....Its sad to see it in the state its in, alot of funny memorys there....But its good to see Nick opened another place.Well I don't see if there is a way to move the accounts over, but we could get them to sign up here....Create a adverisement thread?

Well this is the case. We can't advertise too much on the C smth smth dos site. What you can do is to cmail your friends of C smth smth dos and let them know about our site.I do visit from time to time but as Mega said, it's truly sad to see the current state. I'll guess they make a lot of money of it...

Manually checking for spam, what a stupid idea. If they wanted to keep that out why not manually appove each member instead? Its not people spamming, its bots.The thing that gets me is the new admins, don't give a flying fig newton about the fourms...I'm going to tell my pals about this site too...I'll drop Gon a e-mail.

I still go there occasionally to check out what's happening, but it almost seems pointless. I don't know why they started this spam checking nonsense because activity was struggling already, and with the exception of the shoutbox, there weren't any major spam problems.
Like Mega said, it's sad, but all is not lost, because, you never know, Dosspot could exceed even C D o s' glory days.
EDIT: Good idea about the advertising Mega, I might do that too.

Even though the C:DOS fourms is going down in flames..All the games are still intact, and downloadable...
